Defect recording in QM

Hi Experts,

I am new to this topic.

I need to create defect recording for Inspection slot using BAPI/FM. I found there is a FM QIRF_GET_DEFECT_ITEMS. Defect record should get created w.r.t report type.  Notification got created in table QMFEL. but the record is not created in QF11 with corresponding report type.

Please guide me how to create defect recording for inspection lot by passing inspection lot , report type and defect details.
