System Freeze while running GL Bal c/f : FAGLGVTR

Dear All,

I heard that while running gl balance c/f through FAGLGVTR, under some circumstances we should lock the users in the production system to prevent any postings in the system.

Could you please let me know the scenarios when we need to lock the users (Quite period) in production system.
